Services We Provide
| Parent Advisory Committee (P.A.C.) We encourage active parent involvement through conferences, parent evenings, and participation in our Parent Advisory Committee or P.A.C. We believe that the more parents understand their child’s classroom experiences, the more able the parent will be to reinforce at home what is taught in school. Some of the activities of our P.A.C. include: food drives for the needy, sponsoring underprivileged families, and a yearly Hop-A-Thon. These programs make students aware of humanitarian efforts that we all must engage in for a better world. The P.A.C. also organizes many fun family activities such as a yearly Spring Concert, and the Annual Family Picnic at Cedar Lane Park. The purpose of the P.A.C. is to support the administration of CMMS and help organize various programs throughout the school year. P.A.C. supports the school’s administration and programs through 6 committees: 1) Educational Resources – Scholastic Book Fair 2) Educational Advisory – Parent Workshops 3) Community Outreach – Holiday Food Drive and Hop-A-Thon 4) Family Programs – Spring Recital, Family Picnic, Teacher Appreciation 5) Parent Communications – CMMS Newsletter, class contact for birthdays/holidays 6) Corporate Relations – Giants A+ Bonus Bucks, Safeway Savings Club Card. |
