Welcome to Children’s Manor Montessori School (CMMS). As you look around
our website I hope you will begin to understand the guiding principles and
ideas of CMMS. At our school, we combine the educational precepts of Dr.
Maria Montessori with a twenty first century outlook. We strive to follow a
student’s natural development while also ensuring that our students are
prepared to face the challenges of a technologically advanced society. Here
at CMMS, our students are encouraged to reach a high standard of academic
success, which we feel will best prepare them for the greater challenge of
becoming contributors and leaders in our society. The result of our method
has been that almost all of our students score one to three grade levels above
their public school counterparts in reading and mathematics.
The purpose of our website is to offer you a brief introduction to all that CMMS
has to offer. After reviewing the website, we encourage you to schedule a
tour of our school so that you can gain a better understanding of our
academic programs, our facilities, and the way that our educational
philosophy can help your child become the successful scholar and human

| Coming Fall 2009 Children's Manor Montessori School is proud to announce that we will be opening another branch in Rockville, MD Children's Manor Montessori School in Rockville will be located in front of Human Genome Sciences Corporate Headquarters at 14226 Traville Garden Circle, Rockville, MD 20850. Our Rockville branch will service ages 2 through 3rd Grade.
