Welcome to Children’s Manor Montessori School (CMMS). As you look around our
website, I hope you will begin to understand the guiding principles and ideas of CMMS. At
our school, we combine the educational precepts of Dr. Maria Montessori with a twenty
first century outlook. We strive to follow a student’s natural development while also
ensuring that our students are prepared to face the challenges of a technologically
advanced society. Here at CMMS, our students are held to a high standard of academic
success, which we feel will best prepare them for the greater challenge of becoming
contributors and leaders in our society. The result of our method has been that almost all
of our students score one to three grade levels above their public school counterparts in
reading and mathematics.
The purpose of our website is to offer you a brief introduction to all that CMMS has to
